You’ll explore the Yangpu Riverside Water Plant, an example of the city’s sustainable urban infrastructure, and visit the Huawei Shanghai Research Centre, where a 5G future unfolds. You’ll also have the opportunity to create your own soap from coffee grounds that are eco-friendly at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Academy. Whether biking along the scenic riverfront or hiking in the Chongming Dongtan Nature Reserve, this section of the trip highlights Shanghai’s dedication to environmental harmony and technological prowess.

Extend your adventure with a 3-day tour to the breathtaking cities of Suzhou and Hangzhou, known for their stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage. Wander through Suzhou’s world-renowned classical gardens, including the Humble Administrator’s Garden, and visit the Suzhou Museum designed by I.M. Pei.
