Nouvelles d'Europe, established in 1983, is the most prestigious Chinese news organisation in continental Europe and the UK. The UK Edition of Nouvelles d’Europe was launched in December 2011. In 2015, we launched the English website Chinaminutes.com, dedicated to delivering news and information on Chinese culture, technology, and entertainment to English-speaking readers in real-time. In 2016, our Cultural Centre was officially established, integrating media resources and bringing a rich variety of Chinese cultural activities to the local Chinese community and broader British society.
For a decade, we have been promoting and facilitating travel in China, in collaboration with Chinese tourism and cultural institutions. We have delivered school trips and educational travel programmes for young people from Europe and America, which featured popular destinations including Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, and immersive experiences like tea picking and Chinese paper cutting.
Our PR campaigns include the terracotta warrior flashmob and Hangzhou Global Qipao Festival. At the World Travel Market London 2023, we published “China Minutes’ Grand Tour: Top Ten China City Destinations” based on our survey of over 1 million foreign readers.
