Itinerary Summary

Day 1-4

Beijing

Discover China's most most iconic city! Immerse yourself in its imperial heritage and vibrant modernity. Visit must-see landmarks like the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, and relax in the boutique restaurants and bars in Beijing's old alleyways.

Day 5

Pingyao

Prepare to be transported back to Ming Dynasty! Pingyao is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a traditional Han-Chinese city, founded in the 14th century. Its urban fabric shows the evolution of architectural styles and town planning in Imperial China over five centuries. Of special interest are the imposing buildings associated

with banking, for which Pingyao was the major centre for the whole of China in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Day 6-10

Xi'an

Xi'an boasts more than the famous Terracotta Soldiers! On top of visiting the grave of China's first ever emperor and marvel at the life-sized terracotta army guarding it, you will also take in the city view from the ancient city wall, walk among locals dressed in traditional costume in the Dang Dynasty Everbright City, and taste unique Chinese Muslim cuisine in the Muslim Quarter.
